TICA has been representing organisations within the industrial and commercial thermal insulation industry for almost 60 years; supporting and developing best practice, and providing the very best industry training.

GR Marine is a full member of TICA and has registered employees on the L2 Apprenticeship in Thermal Engineering. TICA employs highly skilled training staff who have all had many years practical experience as Thermal Insulators prior to completing their training qualifications.

TICA currently represents over 100 companies, ranging from multi nationals to small specialist contractors (like GR Marine). Our members engage at regular Regional Meetings and influence and assist with the development of the training programmes, work on our Technical Groups moving the industry forward and ensuring that best practice is shared with all members.

G R Marine have been supporting Uber Boat by Thames Clippers since mid-2019 when we undertook a major project of the re-power of one of our vessels and complete renewal of the structural fire protection and exhaust lagging.
